Jr. Blades Announce Two NCDC Tenders

ESTERO, Fla. – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Rod Simmons announced Friday two NCDC Tenders received by Jr. Blades Players for the 2022-2023 Season. Forward Bret Beale and Defenseman Emmett Pegrum have both received Tenders for the PAL Junior Islanders in the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC).


“The National Collegiate Development Conference is a 13-team tuition-free junior hockey league entirely located in the Northeastern United States. The league and all of its teams are fully united and dedicated to the mission of player development and advancement to college hockey” (USPHL.com/NCDC)


Beale, a native of Highland Michigan, leads the FJB Premier in goals (20) and overall points (44) in just 34 games this season. Prior to joining the Blades Beale played highschool hockey with Detroit Catholic Central where he tallied nine goals and four assists in 17 games for the Shamrocks.


Pegrum, a native of Brighton Michigan, has been a stalwart defenseman for FJB Premier all season. Pegrum has tallied eight goals and eight assists with 69 PIMS in 31 games this season.


These two and the whole Florida Jr. Blades Premier team will be back in action today at 1 PM as they visit the Palm Beach Typhoon for the second game of the weekend. Elite will follow soon after with their second matchup 3:40 PM.
