Jr. Blades Welcome in Florida Eels for First Ever Gigi's Playhouse Game

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Jr. Blades set to play host to the Florida Eels for their first ever Gigi’s Playhouse games this Saturday January 15. Gigi’s Playhouse promises the consistent delivery of FREE educational, therapeutic-based and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. The Fort Myers Gigi’s Playhouse opened its doors on July 29, 2017 making it the 33rd Playhouse in North America and 2nd in Florida. During the Fall, members of the Florida Jr. Blades participated in “Gigi’s Fit”, a twelve week program meant to provide physical and nutritional education to participants.

Elite will start off the afternoon with puck drop at 12:15, with Premier following shortly after at 3:15. Prior to the start of the Elite game there will be a ceremonial puck drop to honor members of Gigi’s Playhouse.
