USPHL Florida College Showcase Set For Dec. 16-20 At Hertz Arena

The USPHL Florida College Showcase comes to Hertz Arena in Estero, Fla., beginning with two games on Thursday, Dec. 16 and running in full from Friday, Dec. 17 through Monday, Dec. 20.

The showcase will feature every USPHL Premier and Elite team in the Southeast and Florida Divisions, as well as the Islanders Hockey Club’s USPHL Premier and Elite teams from North Andover, Mass., rounding out the field.

No team from the same division will compete, as teams will get the chance to test their abilities against teams they largely have not seen since the USPHL Southeast Showcase in late September, which also included all Southeast and Florida teams from the Premier and Elite leagues.

The event will feature three teams in the top 15 of the USPHL Premier - the Florida Eels, Tampa Bay Juniors and Carolina Jr. Hurricanes - as well as seven teams in the top 10 of the USPHL Elite standings.

There will be full hospitality and private viewing areas for college scouts, providing a great recruiting opportunity for the participants.
